I started this website as a place for me to show off some of the many estate sale items I had purchased over the years. For a while, I was pretty big into selling on eBay. I was even a "Power Seller" for a while. I guess I just got tired of handling all of that stuff. I was constantly moving boxes from one part of the house to another, listing items, packing and shipping...it got to be a bit much. So anyway, that's why I started this site.
A funny thing happened though. I started finding things that I thought were really cool on eBay as I was looking for the obscure items I had to sell. I've always liked doing research. My sister used to make fun of me because I would read encyclopedias for fun when I was a kid. When I see something I like, I start trying to learn about it. I figured that I could use this space to make an interesting website rather than just a page showing off the stuff I've got stacked around my house in boxes! I like to do research and I love finding cool stuff. This website is my chance to do both.
I will still be using this site to show off the many things I want to get sold on eBay. I have a path about three feet across in my garage that I can walk through and the rest is estate merchandise I've accumulated over the years. I'll give you more information and background here than you get in just the listings for many items. I'll also include any relevant videos or other information I might be able to dig up. If I don't currently have a particular item listed, I'll still put up a feed to similar items that you might find interesting. They will update constantly for you. If there is nothing interesting there, I might show off the latest special deals on Amazon
There is no one particular category that I intend to focus on with this site. The majority of what I have would fall into the collectibles realm, but I've handled things from many categories during my time scooping up estate treasures. I'll probably also write about some things I find that just happen to catch my interest. I spend a lot of time on eBay and sometimes those oddball auctions help to break up the monotony. The advances we've seen in technology and computers specifically are just amazing. It is still mind boggling to me that I can sit here and type out my little articles about something I think is interesting, and then someone can be reading it on the other side of the world a minute later.
